What I miss the most ...
I miss Onsen 温泉 (Hot Springs) base public bath. They are warm, relaxing and refreshing. Going to visit Onsen is the first thing in my mind when I arrive in Japan. What is your thought?...

Capsule Hotel
Why spend hundreds of dollars (tens of thousands of yen) when all you need is a warm comfortable and safe place to sleep. I have been a fan of so called capsule hotels in Japan. And I really thing the concept should work in the US as well specially for younger generations. What do you think?

What is Gara-Kei?
Gara-Kei is the name people use in Japan to describe non-smartphone type cellular phones. Why is it called Gara-Kei? Gara is a shor for "Galapagos" Kei is a short for "Keitai" (Transportable Phones) So if you have old frip phones, you are Galapagos Keitai user.

Japanese Luxury Car You Find Only in Japan
There are few cars that are only available in Japan and most of them are less expensive micro cars (軽四輪) but have you ever heard of Toyota Century ... the most luxurious car in Japan. It look like a cars from 80s' but it is the car that top executives and politicians rides. Even an emperor of Japan has a special edition of this car....

Pros and Cons of Shinkansen 新幹線
Connecting Tokyo and Osaka (500 km or 320miles) in about 2 and half hours, Shinkansen is a very reliable and fast and comfortable transpiration even when you compare it to the airlines. Jets fly from Tokyo to Osaka in about 50 minutes, but you need to take train, bus or taxi to get to the downtown area whereas Shinkansen gets you to the middle of the city. That is all good. Hollywood Remake of Japanese Classic
The "Ghost in the Shell" is a very popular anime series as many of you know already This year, Hollywood took the story and remakes it to the large screen. Did you see it? Did you like it? Hollywood tends to change the story (a bit) to make it more Americanized. By doing that, they killed the story line. I see this at Hollywood version of GODZILLA movies.
