この竹下通 りには週末 になると多 くの観光客 が訪 れます。日本 のかわいい文化 を見 るならここ以外 はありません。ぜひ駅 を降 りて散策 してみてください。
Harajuku
On the JR Yamanote Line, if you travel counterclockwise from Shinjuku, the next station is Yoyogi. After Yoyogi, you will arrive at a small station called Harajuku. If you get off at this station and head outside the Yamanote Line, you will find the Meiji Shrine. The Meiji Shrine was built in 1920 and is dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken.
If you head inward from Harajuku Station, you will find Takeshita Street, a street with fashion boutiques where many young people gather. Takeshita-dori is a pedestrian shopping street that has become a favorite spot for elementary school students all over the country. It's a place where fashion, cosmetics, sweets, and other trends originate. Takeshita-dori is the birthplace of the kawaii culture that is now spreading around the world.
On weekends, Takeshita-dori is visited by many tourists. There is no better place to see Japan's cute culture than here. Please get off at this station and take a stroll.
